A big day of travel going from Kununurra to Katherine. We stopped at Victoria River Roadhouse that had a sign saying 'Open Under New Wife' (Management was crossed out).
Arriving at Katherine, we found that most caravan parks were full or had no powered sites but we did manage to get a powered site at Springvale Homestead. It's a very nice location and we have a shady site. It's the site of an old homestead that has been preserved. Wallabies and ducks hang out for regular feeding.
Bobby's taken a chance and put a couple of his crab nets in the Katherine River that runs behind the park. Should be interesting as crocs are located nearby.
I have to have my monthly blood test and it's the easy process that operates in Adelaide. Hospital might do it in an emergency but would prefer not to; only doctors' surgery in town don't do it; pathology service were closed and they might want me to see doctor for referral to have blood test. We're going to stay an extra day so that this can happen. Bloody blood thinners!!!
Hi Bob & Shaz, looks like your now heading for Darwin, hope you've bought tickets for Saturday night at TIO stadium? Regards, JB
